Maureen Maloney, Artist & Illustrator

Maureen Maloney is a mixed media painter and illustrator based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her work is inspired by a lifelong connection to nature, drawing from her childhood on an Iowa farm, national park adventures, and close observations of wildlife. She combines collage, gouache, house paint, and non-toxic oil to create richly layered paintings that capture the spirit and emotion of the natural world.

With a background in Biological Pre-Medical Illustration and a career in design and creative direction for companies like Charles Schwab and Walmart, Maureen brings both precision and storytelling to her art. Her work will be featured in a juried exhibition, WILD at Jen Tough Gallery August 16th - Sept 28th. She is a proud member of the New Mexico Women in the Arts.
